Hoe wordt het behandeld?
De SP wordt effectief behandeld door eenvoudige chirurgische excisie of schrapen (curettage) van de basis van de SP en een klein
gebied van het omringende normale weefsel.alternatieve behandelingen omvatten cryotherapie, topische toepassing van keratinolytische middelen (gewoonlijk met salicylzuur en melkzuur) of podofylline of intra-lesionale infiltratie van α-interferon of imiquimod.
recidief wordt gezien in een klein deel van de behandelde gevallen.
